5 - Europe - I’ve seen the Rock of Gibraltar. High winds on the deck of an Aircraft Carrier, the land itself mostly hidden in fog.
(As of 17 Feb 2024, we made it to Iceland. Not the mainland but it was Europe)
24 - Antarctica - I’ve been within 100 miles. Scariest time on a ship that I’ve ever had (waves larger than the carrier).
83 - Australia - Been there. My trip was far too short. I loved it there and I want to go back.
154 - Africa - Been there. Would be nice if they weren’t trying to kill me this time.
Continents - Time to get to all of them.
States - I think its a good idea to get to all the states.
2 - Washington DC - (Yes, I know its a city. One can hope). I’ve actually been there a few times. I’d like to actually spend a decent amount of time though. My first trip was in 1975, cross country road trip with my Grandmother, Mom and Brother. Grandma was in a constant hurry, very much ‘Okay, you saw it. Back in the car.”.
My Second trip was in the 1990’s. I was on a trip to Patuxent River to the Test Pilot facility and I had part of a day to kill. Saw the Air and Space Museum. I’d like to see much much more.
146 - Vermont - not much to say. It’d be nice to see.
147 - Maine
74 - Alaska - My family has some history there. Might also be able to check off a couple other things (Northern Lights, for instance)
Cities - These are places I’d like to get to or that people are shocked that I’ve never been
70 - New York City - I too am shocked that I’ve never been there. It’s a must see.
81 - Boston - I’ve been there. I’d like to actually catch the sites this time.
132 - London - I’ve never been to Europe. I’ve worked with people in London but have never been.
Countries
6 - New Zealand - Looks gorgeous. Seems like a wonderful place
13 - Iceland - Active Volcano. Northern Lights. Seems perfect.

15 - Norway - I’m a quarter Norwegian. It is the primary ethnicity I identify with. Also, I have family there!
30 - Easter Island - Not sure if this is a country or just a destination. Worth seeing.
91 - Japan - I’ve been there and enjoyed it. It takes some getting used to being a giantess.
141 - Portugal - I have a good friend who wants me to go there with her. End of the plague and I am there!
153 - Finland - I still want to see the Northern Lights. I hear Finland is the place to go.
Attractions
1 - Yellowstone - The one time I’ve been there, we drove in and watched Old Faithful go off. Then we left. I think it needs at least a week.
3 - Arctic Circle

4 - See Northern Lights - I’ve seen them when I was young. Occasionally they were visible as far south as we lived.
(16 Feb 2024, I saw the Northern Lights out my airplane window. Over Greenland)
25 - See Iceberg - With all the sea travel I’ve done, you’d think I would have seen one. Nope.

38 - Carlsbad Caverns - My Dad wanted to go there when he was healthy enough. I still want to see it.
39 - Arches National Park - Again, a photo excursion.
40 - Antelope Canyon - Famous slot-canyon. Photos I have seen are gorgeous.
58 - Visit a Presidential Library - Never been to one.
64 - Angel Island - I can see it most days. Worth a trip.
73 - Star Wars at Disney - Massive crowds at the moment. Hopefully I’ll find a good time to go.
84 - British Museum
86 - Yosemite - September 2023 - Complete!
111 - Smithsonian - I could probably spend a couple weeks there.
112 - Crater Lake - October 2023 - Complete!
